Day Trips - Heli-Ski with Selkirk Tangiers

At Selkirk Tangiers, the over 2025 square kilometres of mountains in their exclusive heliski tenure are in the Selkirk and Monashee mountain ranges - where snow means powder! Your helicopter flight will reveal unbelievable vistas en route to legendary powder and the thrill of skiing untouched terrain. Daily trips include breakfast, mountain lunch, apres ski snacks, powder ski/snowboard rental for heliski day(s), Guiding services, Barryvox Pulse transreceiver, backpack, shovel, probe, in depth safety briefing, and $5 per day tax free donation to the HeliCat Canada Wildlife & Environmental Research Fund. For the 5 Run Adventure & 10 Run Expedition, a Bell 205 helicopter is used, carrying up to 3 groups per helicopter*, up to 10 guests per group, plus 2 guides per group. The 7 Run Day Star Small Group package utilizes the AStar helicopter, carrying 1 group of 4 people, plus 1 guide.

OPERATIONAL NOTES:

• 5 Run Adventure: this single day option is ideal for more experienced skiers and boarders looking for a big day of skiing. Previous heli/cat/backcountry skiing or boarding is recommended. Included: 5 runs for the day (4 guaranteed)
• 10 Run Expedition: like the Adventure package, this option is for more confident powder skiers or boarders looking for not just one but two big days of skiing. Included: 10 runs over 2 days (8 runs guaranteed)
• 7 Run Day Star Small Group: Groups can crank out the runs at a steady pace for maximum powder skiing. Skiers/riders should be solid powder skiers with experience riding a variety of challenging terrain. Guests booking as a full group of four allows the guide to customize the heli experience. Included: 7 runs for the day (5 guaranteed)
• It is recommended that all guests be in good physical condition to backcountry ski and have experience skiing or snowboarding off-piste or in un-groomed snow. Ski guests must be strong, experienced skiers
• Minimum age is 15 and any guest between 15-19 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
• Every guest is required to wear an avalanche beacon (also called a transceiver) and instruction on how to properly use the equipment will be reviewed during the safety briefing
• Complimentary shuttles are available for guests staying at The Sutton Place Hotel

SPECIAL PAYMENT POLICY:

• Deposit of 25% of package is due at time reservation is confirmed
• Remaining balance is due 35 days prior to arrival

• For reservations confirmed before Oct 1, 2021, all payments are 100% refundable if clienthas to cancel their trip for any reason
