1. Banff - 4-hour Kananaskis River Rafting | Totem Peaks
Winding through the picturesque landscape of Kananaskis Country and only 45 minutes west of Calgary in the front ranges of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, the class II-III Kananaskis River is a great whitewater experience, suitable for rafters as young as 5 years of age. Included are professional river guide on each raft, safety instruction and practice paddle, complimentary photos (accessible online), light snack and refreshment, 1.5-2 hours river time, wetsuit, lifejacket, helmet, rainjacket, wetsuit booties and gloves.

2. Banff - 2-hour Sundance Loop Horseback Ride | Great Parks of the West, Mountain Express, Unlimited Adventures
Escape into the Canadian Rockies for a 2-hour trail ride. Follow the Bow River and traverse the side of Sulphur Mountain. This is an excellent opportunity to capture panoramic views of the valley from the Bow River and Sulphur Mountain. This excursion is suitable for novice to experienced riders.

3. Banff - 2-hour Evening Wildlife Safari | Western Wonders
Join this tour through Banff National Park in search of some of its most visible wildlife, with animal sightings on over 95 percent of departures. A knowledgeable guide will provide commentary on the threats to wildlife today and explain how the National Park environment helps protect animals and their natural habitat. Frequent sightings include black bears, bull, elk, bighorn sheep and osprey. Stops on the tour include a variety of interpretive locations and participants will have access to binoculars

4. Banff - Banff Gondola Ride | Western Canada Rocky Mountain Experience
A breathtaking ascent to the pinnacle of Sulphur Mountain for an awe inspiring 360-degree panorama of sheer mountain majesty. Enjoy the interpretative hiking trails that lead along the ridge of the mountain. After an invigorating hike why not enjoy one of the two excellent restaurants at the summit.

5. Canmore - Three Sisters Peaks Tour (helicopter), 12-minutes | The Wild West, Western Spirit
An excellent introduction to the dramatic views of helicopter sightseeing, this 20 minute tour of the Spray Lakes and Spray Valley takes you over the forested slopes of Mount Buller, a favourite destination for many inter mediate climbers. The tree line stops well short of the summit, offering a dramatic view of the shale patterns rocky outcroppings of the surrounding mountains of the Goat Range as they tumble into the trees of the Spray Valley. Minimum 2 passengers required.
Without Transfers (11:00 departure will automatically be booked by the supplier if a specific time has not been requested).

6. Crows Nest - Frank Slide Interpretative Centre | Western Canada Rocky Mountain Experience
The Frank Slide Interpretive Centre highlights the rich history of the Crowsnest Pass amid the breathtaking beauty of the Canadian Rockies. Visitors can experience a variety of interpretive programs, presentations and special events. Displays throughout the Centre feature the 1903 Frank Slide (rockslide avalanche), the Canadian Pacific Railway, European settlement, early underground coal mining and community life. An award-winning audio-visual presentation entitled "In the Mountain's Shadow" is shown daily. Also showing, a docudrama created for the centennial of the Frank Slide in 2003, entitled "On the Edge of Destruction - The Frank Slide Story." Pathways around the Centre provide spectacular views of the Frank Slide and surrounding area.

7. Jasper - 1.5-hour Ice Explorer Ride | Totem Peaks, Western Canada Rocky Mountain Experience, Mountain Express
Independently travel into the Rocky Mountains and along one of the world's most spectacular journeys to the Columbia Icefield. At the Athabasca Glacier, Brewster's all terrain Ice Explorers will take you on a 75-minute ice age adventure to experience ancient ice and a moving glacier.

8. Jasper - 3.5-hour Wildlife Discovery Tour | Great Parks of the West
Jasper National Park is well known as a World Heritage site due to its natural beauty and historical significance. Friendly, local driver guides reveal some of Jasper’s hidden gems and share their knowledge of the history, geology, and ecology of the area. As you travel through Jasper and the surrounding area in a comfortable, sightseeing sidecar will you be amazed at some of the beautiful scenery as you learn about the ways the local contribute to the rich diversity of the park. The guides are trained to seek out all of the park’s most iconic creatures, providing a great opportunity to view the animals in their natural habitat. Have your camera ready to capture some amazing photos of the highlights of this informative and entertaining “Discovery Tour”.
This wildlife viewing tour is a driving tour with minimal walking. The maximum group size is 28 passengers. Photos of wildlife are usually taken from the inside the vehicle or on the ground at a safe distance from the animals. While the natural habitat around Jasper is conducive to animal sightings, animal viewing is not guaranteed and depends largely on the season, the time of day, and the weather. The selected route is at the discretion of the driver guide.

9. Jasper - 2.5-hour River Raft Float Trip on Athabasca River | Western Wonders, Unlimited Adventures
This fun and easy rafting / scenic float trip travels down the Athabasca River, a designated Canadian Heritage River. A Jasper National Park licensed guide will provide commentary on the human and natural history of Jasper while navigating along the same route used by the fur traders over 2 centuries ago. Lifejackets and the specially designed, 7 m / 25 ft long, oar-powered rafts offer a safe and comfortable ride through several small, easy sets of rapids and calm stretches that any first-time rafter will enjoy. The guides do all the rowing while the group sits back and enjoys the ride and spectacular scenery. There is a chance of seeing various wildlife including elk, deer, moose, coyotes, wolves, eagles, ospreys, mountain sheep and bears. This trip is designed for the whole family; toddlers to seniors - ages 2-99 are welcome.

10. Jasper - 1.5-hour Spirit Island Cruise on Maligne Lake | Great Parks of the West
Let Maligne Tours take you on a 90-minute cruise on one of the Rockies' most picturesque lakes. The tour is operated in a glass-enclosed, heated cruise boat and is fully narrated by a Transport Canada licensed crew. Mid-way through there is a photo stop at Spirit Island where passengers disembark for a short walk to the lookout point. This is a wonderful photo opportunity not to be missed!
