Nights spent in this working lighthouse are just the beginning of the adventure on Quirpon Island. Hiking trails branch out from the inn, following the coastline or delving inland over the rocky terrain. The comfortable observation lounge gives a front row seat for the Humpback and Minke whales that feed in the waters just off the shoreline and can often be seen breaching the waves, coming crashing down into the water again. In the spring, icebergs gently float by, providing a spectacle unique in the world. A Zodiac tour of Iceberg Alley and the shoreline of the island showcase the rugged coastlines and some of the animals that live and thrive there.
