Skywalk Express Tour Overview
Approx. 3.5 hours hotel to hotel
Fly from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon! Soar over Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and long-extinct volcanoes. Let the vastness of the Mojave Desert landscape sweep over you and enjoy aerial views of the canyon stretching more than 40 miles long. We’ll return to the dazzling Las Vegas Strip before your limousine driver picks you up and takes you comfortably back to your hotel.
What to Expect:
- LIMOUSINE PICKUP
To start your experience off right, we'll pick you up from your Las Vegas hotel in a stretch limousine* and bring you to our beautiful pre-flight lounge.
* Please note this is a shared limousine service with other Sundance passengers. Private limousines may be booked upon request for a nominal fee.
- HOOVER DAM
Your flight will take you past the 221 m high and 379 m long Hoover Dam, a modern marvel of engineering. The dam took 3,250,000 cubic yards of concrete to construct - enough to pave a two-lane highway from San Francisco to New York.
- MOJAVE DESERT
Traverse the beautiful mountain and sandscapes of the Mojave Desert. The Mojave appears harsh and barren from a distance, but a closer look reveals a wide array of habitats–mountains, valleys, springs, forests and wetlands–that shelter an abundance of plant, fish and animal species.
- LAKE MEAD
Cross the shimmering teal blue waters and stunning sandstone shorelines of Lake Mead on your way to the Grand Canyon. Formed by the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead is the largest reservoir in the U.S. in terms of capacity, and the largest man-made lake in the U.S. The lake is 112 miles long when full, has 759 miles of shoreline, and is 532 feet at its greatest depth. It is also home to thousands of desert plants and animals, adapted to survive where rain is scarce and temperatures can soar.
- COLORADO RIVER
Follow the winding path of the mighty Colorado River into the Grand Canyon. The river is 1,450 miles long and has a flow of 800 million gallons of water per hour.
- GRAND CANYON
The best way to view the Grand Canyon. Fly from Las Vegas and enjoy a helicopter ride through the powerful and inspiring landscape of the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The canyon overwhelms your senses through its immense size and unique combinations of geologic color and erosional striations. This epic canyon is 277 river miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and a mile deep.
Receive expedited access with no waiting in long lines. Now you can feel like you're walking on air. Located at Grand Canyon West’s Eagle Point, the Skywalk is the only place where visitors can step out onto a glass walkway nearly 4,000 feet above the floor of the Grand Canyon.
- EAGLE POINT
Explore the Native American village, peer over the rim of the Grand Canyon or test your wits walking on the horseshoe shaped glass bridge of the Skywalk suspend nearly 4,000 feet above the canyon floor. Here you'll have a chance to meet members of the Hualapai Tribe and learn more about their amazing history and culture as residents of the Grand Canyon.
- LAS VEGAS STRIP
Fly over the famous Las Vegas Strip! Past the Stratosphere Tower, Caesars Palace and hope for a glimpse of the Bellagio's fountains before spotting the skyline of New York-New York and the beam atop the Luxor pyramid.
- LIMOUSINE DROP-OFF
We'll take you back to your hotel in style. If you're headed somewhere else on the strip after your flight, our chauffeurs are more than happy to accommodate. Please bear in mind that a gratuity is always appreciated.
