Expedition Kayaking

2021 Expedition Kayaking

British Columbia offers a sea kayaking experience like none other – stunning vistas, lush temperate rain forests, long sandy beaches, incredible wildlife sightings, and vast wilderness areas. Simply put, British Columbia is one of the premiere destinations for sea kayaking in the world. Everything comes together here; an extensive maze of islands, rich First Nations culture, extraordinary wildlife encounters with orcas, humpback whales, bears, eagles and much, much more.

Small group sizes are allowing close personal attention and minimal impact on the environment and the wildlife. Expedition Kayaking (explorer tours) have a maximum of eight guests with two guides.

1. Central Gwai Haanas Explorer, 5 days | $1.995 CAD per person
The five day Central Gwaii Haanas Explorer tour has a more relaxed pace than our longer Gwaii Haanas Explorer kayak tours and is a great way to experience some of the best features of Gwaii Haanas without the same time and energy commitment.

2. Sea Otter Exploere Kayak Tour, 5 days | $1.595 CAD per person
On the wild west coast of Vancouver Island lies Nuchatlitz Provincial Marine Park – a spectacular group of small islets, soft sand beaches, open ocean views, and amazing wildlife. Nuchatlitz is one of the few places in Canada where we can reliably view sea otters. After being hunted almost to extinction in the last century, their population is steadily growing, and now in Nuchatlitz we can view large rafts of these playful creatures.
