ITINERARY:
- DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT OCEAN QUEST ADVENTURE RESORT AND SPA
After being met either at the airport or your downtown St. John’s hotel, you are transferred to the resort and check in. Meet with the resort coordinator and select 3 excursions to enjoy over the next several days. If your check in is early, there may be time to embark on your first excursion.
Dinner included. Overnight at Ocean Quest Adventure Resort and Spa. - DAYS 2 & 3 – OCEAN QUEST ADVENTURE RESORT AND SPA
Over the next two days, explore the surrounding area on your selected guided adventure excursions! Your 3 excursions will selections from the following options:- Marine Wildlife Snorkeling:
After a basic instruction in snorkeling, swim alongside the many fascinating creatures of the local waterways, observing them in their natural habitat. Available June to beginning of August. (5 hours) - Culinary Adventure:
Enjoy a boat tour with commentary from your guide, harvesting scallops for preparation in a delicious lunch. Available April to end of September. (4 hours) - Coastline Paddle:
Explore the rugged and beautiful coastlines of Conception Bay or Petty Harbour with an experienced kayaking guide. Available April to end of September. (3 hours) - Paddle Sea Caves:
Riding in a rigid hull inflatable boat along the coastline referred to as the “Jurassic park” of Newfoundland, explore these natural formations and the paleontological history they contain.
Available April to end of September. (3 hours) - Iceberg Paddle:
Get a first-hand glimpse of these brilliant, frozen floating mountains and take away 10.000 year old ice to keep your drinks cold for the week.
Available April to July. (3 hours) - Island Expedition:
An intriguing outing, exploring Bell Island or Kelly’s Island, seas caves and including a visit to Mine Quest.
Available April to end of September. (4 hours) - Ocean Safari:
A comprehensive tour, featuring sheer cliffs, exotic vegetation, amazing seabirds, and a chance to see sunfish, jumping tuna, or even dolphins.
Available April to end of September. (1.5 to 3 hours) - Ocean Quest Spa:
Relax with luxurious treatments that nourish the skin while making use of the island setting’s natural resources. Available year round. Duration depends on treatments. - Scenic Tours of National Historic Sites:
The past of St. John’s is revealed with visits to Signal Hill, Cape Spear and other historic sites. Available April to end of September. (4 hours) - Cod Fishing:
Tales of shipwrecks, sea birds and whales are told on your quest for a catch of cod. An old time fisherman reveals the secret of how to clean and fillet your fish!
Available end of June to the beginning of September. (3 hours)
All meals included. Overnights at Ocean Quest Adventure Resort and Spa. - Marine Wildlife Snorkeling:
- DAY 4 – END OF PACKAGE
After breakfast, check out of the resort before being transferred to either St. John’s Airport or downtown St. John’s. Breakfast included.
PACKAGE INCLUDES:
- Accommodation for 3 nights
- Round trip transfers between either St. John’s Airport or downtown St. John’s to the resort
- All meals and snacks, beginning with dinner on Day 1 and ending with breakfast on Day 4
- A choice of 3 guided excursions over the duration of the stay (see itinerary for descriptions)

PACKING SUGGESTIIONS:
Weather can change quickly on the water. A wind/rain jacket, hat, set of warm clothes, layered casual outerwear is recommended.
ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION:
A moderate, modern bed & breakfast style property, featuring rooms with 2 twins or 1 king bed.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- At time of booking, please advise pickup location on Day 1, and drop off location on Day 4
- The Mermaid touring box has a swim on platform, galley, washrooms, back deck and heated cabin
- All guests are required to sign a waiver of liability prior to departure
HOW TO GET THERE:
You will either be met at the St. John’s airport arrivals gate by a representative identifying themselves as being from Ocean Quest, or at the front desk of your St. John’s hotel.
